'For me personally, it is fiction what allows me to laugh. Reality is quite creepy.' Spanish illustrator, cartoonist and artist Joan Cornellà is best known for his dark and surreal comedic comic strips that make clever, if a little absurd (and sometimes even offensive) social commentaries, and has amassed a huge social media following of nearly seven million. After a string of Asia exhibitions in recent years, this is his first Beijing solo show.

Admission is free for visitors under 16 accompanied by a paying adult, though parental guidance is strongly advised, given the rather adult themes.

Kids Yoga with Yiyang @ Zarah

Pssst, we will have lions, peacocks, cats, dogs, cobras & more on our roof terrace on July 7th. No we will not open a petting zoo at Zarah. But instead instructor Yiyang will join us with lots of fun poses for a 40 minutes session of Kid’s Yoga on our roof terrace on Saturday morning at 10am.

Together with Yiyang we will offer once per month on a weekend a special Yoga session but each time with a different theme because we believe that Yoga can be everywhere, anytime & in any situation in our lives. So we have decided to dedicate the first-ever session of our monthly Yoga to our little ones with the aim to promote a healthier lifestyle from a young age. All kids above three years are very welcome to join a fun, dynamic and interactive get-together where they can learn basic techniques for relaxation, self-control and stress-release improving their overall well-being.

We will also prepare a choice of special Kids Breakfast also with a vegetarian option, while parents of our little yoga attendees will enjoy 15 percent off on all our a la carte breakfasts. So bring your little ones to Zarah on 7 July for a fun get-together with other kids and let them meet the colourful animal world of Yoga! Yoga mat or blanket needed!

Date: 7 Jul

Time: 10-11am

Event admission: RMB 50 per kid (breakfast not included) / Pre-booking needed! Parents enjoy 15% off on breakfast
